Alt. Science/News: Penny For Your Mind
| You know all those school "contests" where the kids all try and collect 1 million pennies (but you never hear of them succeeding)? Well, at some point somebody (who was probably evil) told me that the human mind can't even envision a million pennies - it's too much. Like a sucker(zulu) I bought into that and as usual I was totally wrong. This site gives a great representation of just how many pennies a million (and 10 million and 1 billion, etc) are. And let me tell you - I can indeed visualize it. Or is it a Penny For Your Thoughts? |  [Odd Topic] |

That's a lot of copper.
Makes me wonder how many pennies I could collect in a year.
